I have been a bit quiet on the blogging front lately as I have been busy crafting away for a Mid winter Christmas market I have a table at in early July.
Here is a few of the woodland creatures who will be adorning my table....
...and a close of up the pincushions........
.....featuring cute little cross stitched fox and bunny.
Just loving Bambi........
....and her oversized head is too too cute!!
Here she is in pink with her head on a different angle....
I really want to keep this one but I guess I will have to make another.
And a few more pincushions ........
...which I always find are great sellers at markets but not so much online.
Now being that it is a midwinter Christmas market I really need to get into the Christmas spirit and start making some festive decorations. Maybe I will dig out some holiday CDs to get me in the mood!!!!

Did you know you can link your Etsy shop to your Facebook page?
I just found out it is so easy (and free!) to add your Etsy shop to your Facebook page. The quickest way to do it is to find someone who has done it all ready and then create your own link from there.
So visit my page here click on 'Shop' next to the 'Likes' and scroll down to the bottom and click on the EasySocial Shops icon and then follow the prompts to link your own Etsy shop.
It takes like 1 minute....Do it now, its fabulous!

Meet my Blue Bunny....
I was lucky enough to win a gorgeous plushies pattern from Gingermelon and ever since have been beavering (or bunnying!) away making this blue bunny....
......... I just love him! I was totally inspired by Shelly's designs on the front of the pattern...

....and decided to make my bunny blue and orange too. I loved making his little orange romper suit and couldn't resist stitching a bunny on the front....
...it does have pink cheeks and inner ears but it is a little hard to tell in the photo.
My kids are desperate to get their hand on him but he is all mine!

I won something wonderful!
I entered a giveaway on the Gingermelon Dolls blog and I won one of Shelly's gorgeous new patterns...

They are all too adorable but I think I am going to make the bunny first with the cute little orange dress.
You can find this pattern in Gingermelon's Etsy store along with hundreds (yes hundreds) of other gorgeous patterns like this one...

Look at Little Red Riding Hood and Snow White.....devine!
Be sure to like the Gingermelon facebook page and keep an eye out for more giveaways which Shelly has all the time. She has 8021 likes! Eeeek puts my 78 likes to huge shame.

Now you can download Cupcake Cutie patterns instantly!
I love a bit of instant gratification so I am so excited that Etsy now offer instant digital downloads!
That means that when you buy a Cupcake Cutie pattern from my Etsy store you just click the button and there is your file all ready to print. No waiting by your inbox for the pattern to arrive, you can start stitching straight away!
The one problem with this Etsy innovation is that I am probably 10 times more likely to being buying instant patterns and printables...hmmmmm dangerous.

Bunny Sweatshirt project finished!
I am trying really hard to finish some projects and it is not as hard as I thought. I have just finished stitching this gorgeous bunny on my daughter's size one sweatshirt....
No I am seriously considering stitching one in my size!
Question is when are you too old to be wearing a cute picture on your sweater?
...the pattern is of course from one of my favourite Ondori cross stitch books. Here she is close up...
I just used a piece of scrap waste canvas, pinned it in the middle and used an oval embroidery hoop to keep it in place...
......carefully counted to find the middle of the bunny pattern and started stitching. I just kept moving the hoop around to suit which part I was stitching until I was finished...
......then I removed the hoop and the fun began. You are supposed to immerse it all in water to release the waste canvas but it gets messy and yucky and sometimes colours run so I prefer just to remove it strand by strand. It takes a bit of care and patience but it is lots of fun too...
